Nineteen artists will present unique fibre and textile works in this showcase that the gallery hopes will promote the nuance and legitimacy of the medium. As well as Australian contributors, Fibrespace has collaborated with artists from Lapland and Finland. These new works are indicative of each artists’ personal journey of discovery and offer insight into the creative minds of Melanie Sarantou, Zena Cox, Jon Hawkins-Clarke and Tammy Colman to name a few.
