Mitchell Fine Art, Queensland, presents ‘Night Vision’, a major exhibition by George Gittoes, Australian artist, and recipient of the 2015 Sydney Peace Prize, in recognition of his contribution to the peace making process by documenting in photography and film some of the world’s most known conflicts, from the killing fields of Bosnia to the massacres in Rwanda.
For over forty years Gittoes has recorded and reflected on what he has witnessed, sharing the stories of his experiences through his work that he presents in drawing, painting, and filmmaking.
