‘Limits to Growth’ is the first survey exhibition of Melbourne-based, multi-disciplinary artist Nicholas Mangan, bringing together five major projects in conversation with a new commission, Limits to Growth.
Forming meaning from objects, cultural and natural phenomena, Mangan creates film, montages, photography, sculptures and installations that disrupt established systems of knowledge. His work addresses a wide range of themes including the human relationship to the natural environment and the complex dynamics of contemporary capitalism in the Asia Pacific.
