Ian Gardiner: A Life in Print

‘A Life in Print’ is a retrospective exhibition of work by artist and academic Ian Gardiner (1943-2008), drawn from the Whitehorse Art Collection donated from the artist’s estate in 2015. The show features etchings, linocuts, mono-prints, woodcuts and woodblock prints inspired by Gardiner’s travels as well as Japanese and other Eastern art influences. Highlights of the display include colourful abstract works along with the artist’s interpretations of the landscape and body. Presented by guest curator Rodney James.
