Luke Sciberras’ artworks vibrate with life. For more than twenty-five years, this artist from Central West NSW has drawn inspiration from his immediate environment, capturing the elemental shapes, textures and senses of the landscape through his energetic plein air drawings and paintings, quickly seizing fleeting moments in nature: changes in light, weather and mood, in pencil and oils.
For this new body of work, Sciberras renders for the first time the inland waterways in his journeys through regional Victoria, New South Wales, and the Australian Capital Territory.
