‘Threshold’ is a creative work of contemporary art that consists of 3D rectangular identical pine timber units that contain light. It has a sense of creative purpose which is humanly transformative; it focuses on renewal to celebrate the rebirth of world peace, using light as a material and perception as a medium to effect healing and to embrace love.
Viewers are invited to experience the movement of the dynamic shifting colours of light in a contemplative environment. This directed perception becomes a reflexive act, more human, sensuous, rational, divine and mystical, making the body as a medium of transformation.
