The achievements and contributions by senior Territorians to and within the Northern Territory community are recognised and celebrated through the twenty-one finalists’ works on view in the twenty-fourth edition of the annual Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award. Established in the Year of the Older Person, 1999, the Award reflects the vitality of this age demographic and the art of portrait creation in the Northern Territory. Many works possess an emotional potency: happiness, confidence, and strength. Look into the face of these painted portraits and be inspired.
