Found objects and an innate need to make art is what drives Greer to create the objects and sculptures he has devoted his career to making. Deeply personal, the work and his studio time is something of a meditation in his daily routine.
“My practice in the last five years has developed into trusting and believing in intuition, though at a subliminal level there are processes brewing: materials, form, patina, content, feel, balance, scale and the like all permeate.
The works featured in this exhibition have links to homage, manifestations, the human condition, and the beauty of unthinking.” – Robin Greer
