Curated by Peter Haynes, this exhibition of individual and collaborative works brings together two artists – Ros Auld and Claire Primrose – who explore an authentic connection to the natural world, particularly the Australian landscape.
Auld’s ceramics express both the strength and fragility of nature using materials from the earth, with interplay between monumental forms and delicate surfaces. Primrose explores an emotional response to landscape, using soil and water samples from field trips to recreate the surfaces, textures and colours of a particular place.
