In his short life Tim Wright captured the imagination of all who saw his work. His vibrant paintings are charged with a manic energy, and provide an enduring account of his infectious spirit.
Wright’s work is best described as neo-expressionist and contemporary primitivism, with his paintings recording his travels to various landscapes in a range of iconic vehicles, from a HK Kingswood to an F-150 Ambulance, and the famous HJ-47 Toyota Landcruiser ’Troopy’. All of these vehicles and the paths taken with them feature in his paintings.
