UBUNTU Art – Charity Fundraiser at SCA

UBUNTU Art – an annual sale of around 100 contemporary artworks, generously donated by prominent Australian artists and photographers takes place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February at Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) in Callan Park campus.

All funds raised through the exhibition and event will go directly to support the work of foundations.(au) to improve the lives of orphaned children in south west Uganda. foundations.(au) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation and Ubuntu is a community based initiative organised since 2008 by volunteers.

Contributing artists include Ben Quilty, Sophia Hewson, Annette Bezor and Peter O’Dougherty as well as Paddington Art Prize winner, Suey McEnnally and Portia Geach finalists, Laura Matthews and Pollyxenia Joannou.

Artwork prices start at as little as $50, and include paintings, jewellery, photography and sculpture by some of the country’s leading artists particularly members of the thriving local art community in Sydney’s inner-west.
