Upending Expectations: Contemporary Glass

Upending Expectations: Contemporary Glass brings together eleven national and international artists working with the ancient craft of glass making. Across a range of approaches in shaping and producing glass, including blown and kiln-formed processes, reimagined old crystal and cut-glass objects and neon, the artists bring the captivating properties of light, transparency, and reflection into play, resulting in an extraordinary accompaniment of works ruminating on themes of our identification with place, the natural environment, and the inspiration of the human body.
