In DC and Marvel comics, the protagonists exhibit feats of incredible strength, invisibility, flight, and the ability to shoot webs, displaying great courage in fighting evil and protecting the innocent. In this exhibition, Thai-born Melbourne-based ceramicist Vipoo Srivilasa asks the question: what does a COVID-19 superhero look like? Srivilasa has created a collection of superheroes inspired by the dreams of people in the Ballarat community. Each superhero has a special power to fight off 2020’s villain, the coronavirus.
