Challenge Charity Auction on artFido

A giant wall mural by Hush, recently included in his exhibition at Metro Gallery, will later this month be auctioned off on the artFido website with all funds going to Challenge – a not for profit group raising money to help children and families living with cancer.

Challenge chairman Tom Gleisner says, “Funds raised will go directly towards the services we provide for around 300 children with cancer and their families. They include hospital support, music therapy, playgroups, family holidays and parent retreats.  Art therapy is another service we are planning to introduce, so the association with artFido is fitting”.

Alex McCulloch, Director of Metro Gallery in Melbourne says, “We sold pieces one third of this size for up to $15,000 during Hush’s recent exhibition. There’s no telling what this one’s worth! This is a rare and exciting opportunity for any buyer.”

artFido is an exciting new way anyone can buy and sell art. The online sales and auction platform offers long time collectors or first time buyers an opportunity to browse and buy at their own pace and to their own tastes.

The auction will also include pieces donated by Lauraine Diggins Fine Art, Mossenson Galleries and Lookart Consulting.

The Challenge Charity Auction started on June 29 and will conclude on July 22. All pieces of art are offered with no reserve and 100% of proceeds will go to Challenge.
