Josh Foley: Blue Lines

Foley’s work is installed in the designated Blue Line area at Galerie pompom as part of their series of un-represented artist shows. On exhibition is an eclectic collection of recent painting experiments that, at their core, research the idea of parametric painting. This can be defined as representing the illusion of a surface through the use of paint.

Foley’s most recent investigations are into how using paint in a thick impasto manner to represent forms that seem to be impasto marks made by giants, might create a kind of loop where the microcosm becomes the macrocosm and revolves back and forth endlessly.
