Our cover artist for this summer issue is Alan Jones who is presenting a survey exhibition of work ‘Paper and Wood – Collecting Ideas’ at the Maitland Regional Art Gallery.
The exhibition presents a broad range of Jones’ drawings, sketchbooks and sculptures. Featuring work he made over a decade ago to more recent images, such as the portrait on the cover. The exhibition is an intimate insight into the artist’s creative practice – from sketched ideas through to formed works and concepts.
