Milan Milojevic: Terra Incognita – A duck-billed what?

‘Terra Incognita: A duck-billed what?’ is an exhibition of prints and three-dimensional objects depicting colourful worlds of imagined beasts and plant life; hybrid landscapes of memory, myth, fact and fiction. Within the chaos of zoological and botanical displacements and dislocations, Milan Milojevic explores contemporary cultural identity and the complexities of a cross-cultural position. Often reflecting his own mixed ancestry, Milojevic creates a space ‘in-between’ the memories of a homeland he never witnessed, and the experiences of a life lived in Australia.
