For the Love of DOG

Man’s best friend. One of the oldest friends of humans, and one of the earliest animals depicted in art, canines have been a constant throughout human history, symbolising protection, loyalty or generosity. This exhibition highlights the range of portrayals of the humble pooch by Australian artists: Michael Bell, Geoff Harvey, Stephen Bird, Penny Ruthberg, Robbie Crane, Zoe Tweedale, Michelle Dawson, Emily Valentine, Jane Grealy, and Deborah Williams, featuring paintings, limited edition prints, drawings, and sculpture.
