This exhibition considers the effects climate change has had on deep time of human culture, featuring over sixty works in a variety of media, including photography, installation, video and sound work.
Explored are intersections between culture, extractive industries, climate concern and environmental activism – with First Nations voices foregrounded – and connection, place, shifts in our historical narratives and future thinking about the environment are central themes. Artists include Maree Clarke, Aunty Netty Shaw, Megan Cope, Sue Ford, Jill Orr, Rosemary Laing, Linda Tegg, Joseph Beuys, Jacobus Capone and Nicholas Mangan.
