Krzywokulski grew up in the countryside towards the Dandenong Ranges, fostering an early fascination and communion with nature, reinforced by distance from the city. He is influenced heavily by illustration, poster art and t-shirt design, as well as animation, having worked variously in all these fields. This is very evident in his latest body of work, ‘Abstract Logic of Dreams’.
“Like the abstract logic of dreams, so are our emotions, tentatively choreographing an idea, a desire for a fixed state of forward progress. But it’s always a conglomeration of enigmatic small parts”, says Krzywokulski.
