The sixty-four finalists of the biennial Mid West Art Prize were selected from across Western Australia.
Exhibiting across both floors of the gallery, the prize dates back to 2011 and includes the $20,000 City of Greater Geraldton Overall Acquisitive Award, $5,000 Mid West Development Commission Mid West Artist Award, $5,000 City of Greater Geraldton Aboriginal Art Award, $3,000 Regional Arts WA Emerging Artist Fellowship, $1,500 Melissa Price MP Packers Award, $1,500 Durlacher Dental Care People’s Choice Prize, and Bowman-Bright Young Artist Award (with a $500 cash and $500 materials prize).
