Scheduled to coincide with the release of his Wakefield Press SALA Monograph, ‘The extreme climate of Nicholas Folland’, authored by Lisa Slade, and an extensive exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia, Greenaway Art Gallery presents a satellite exhibition exploring primary concerns and recent directions in the artists practice.
The work confirms the artist’s ongoing interest in the potential to evoke memory and inspire speculation through the subtle transformation of the everyday, revising history and evoking possible worlds through the recreation and repurposing of found objects and works on paper.
