Tom Mùller has created new works in response to the architecture of the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) for ‘MONOLITH SCORES’, part of the WA Now series. This body of work reflects the intrinsic rhythm of the space. AGWA Associate Curator 21st Century Arts, Dunja Rmandić says that the new pieces, which include sculptural and sound works, shape ‘the Brutalist building as a living, breathing and dynamic temple-like space to which our presence is integral. We hear it and see it with more quiet awareness.’
