Di Bresciani: New Compositions in Colour

Both a visual artist and a musician, Bresciani is inspired by the famous Van Gogh quote “I want to paint the way music makes me feel”. Bresciani’s process is about gesture and movement, with the hope of allowing a new experience of light and colour. The intuitive nature of movement itself can be seen as central to creative expression in both visual arts and in music.

This exhibition is a continuation of the expressive qualities underpinning her practice with paint and colour and sees her gradually move from representational imagery to something more abstract.
