Using photography, painting and sculpture, this exhibition presents the work of three artists, each who explores imagery from deliberately familiar to environmentally spectacular spaces and places.
Mackay’s still life paintings focus on everyday items – glass bottles, food, knives and other household paraphernalia. Morecroft’s large-scale photographs explore the Australian landscape, both aesthetically and as studies of pattern and structure. And Randall Sinnamon’s skillfully constructed yet playfully idiosyncratic bird sculptures complete the ‘Inside/Out’ theme – imaginary wild creatures built from domestic paraphernalia.
