Pippin Drysdale: Infinite Terrain

Fremantle-based ceramicist Pippin Drysdale is known for vast fields of flowing lines and mesmerising colour, evoking landscapes both intimate and expansive – inviting viewers into layered readings that intertwine imagination, memory, and place.

Featuring work from the State Art Collection alongside significant loans, this retrospective spans over forty years of practice. On show are porcelain forms exploring the vastness of colour in the landscape, revealing its capacity for both intensity and subtlety, and a practice driven by a deep enthusiasm for discovery of place, of self, and of creative and technical breakthroughs.
